Summer chemistry courses & labs at Rice University for HS students
Rice University, aka the Harvard in the south, offers excellent courses for its students during each summer. We have partnered with Dr. Humayun Kabir in the Department of Chemistry to accept high school students to courses General Chemistry I and General Chemistry II (and their accompanying labs) to audit (no credit given) . Each course takes seven weeks. This is a great opportunity for HS students to acquire genuine classroom & lab experience as well as college level training on chemistry at this prestigious university. This experience certainly contributes to the student’s college application.
